At IBM iX I established and led the Global UX strategy and design consulting practice. Our team helped the world’s most influential companies create experiences, products and services that reinvented their relationships with customers and employees.

I was personally involved in the scoping, strategy and design of these select applications.

IBM + APPLE DESIGNED A SUITE OF
NEW ENTERPRISE MOBILE APPLICATIONS

In 2014, IBM and Apple forged a strategic partnership to transform how work gets done. Over a 2 year period, our IBM MobileFirst CoC team worked on a wide range of new iOS native enterprise apps that brought consumer-grade experiences to the workplace.

The application “Litmus Test” included: 

- Solves a significant industry pain point          - Powered by advanced analytics 

       - Made first for mobile                                        - Empowers employees in a new way 

For this initiative, I was a member of the IBM/Apple Strategic Partnership team  representing UX Design where I defined the customer experience vision for select apps in collaboration with IBM/Apple SME’s, Oversaw UX Design of the enterprise app’s using Apple design standards, supported strategic sales efforts with leading clients and trained IBM Business Services consulting teams on the IBM+Apple program and the application suite

Dynamic Buy (Retail)

Provided retail buyers with real-time perspectives and data-driven recommendations on in-season buying and took the guesswork out of staying ahead.

Expert Tech (Cross-Industry

Empowered field technicians to mobilize appointment and customer information to better address in-the-field work with more accurate diagnoses and solutions.

Advise and Grow (Banking)

Allowed bankers in the field to provide clients with analytics-driven recommendations based on account data and known business trends.  Streamlined new loan applications for real-time, on-site approvals.

Advisor Alerts (Insurance)

Enabled managers and advisors to set analytics-powered notifications based on holdings, transactions, portfolio information, profiles, investment research, third-party news, and CRM data to prioritize client service interactions.

GLOBAL INSTRUCTOR: IBM UX/DESIGN STRATEGY, MOBILE,
AND BUSINESS SERVICES TEAMS 

Our 50 person team of UX strategy and design experts worked globally to shape new experiences for key clients.  As leader, I developed and refined IBM’s methods and taught IBM partners and consultants how to apply Mobile and Emerging Technologies for both consumer and enterprise users. In addition, I taught

IBM Design Thinking across the world to transform IBM into a more user-focused company.
